1. Who We Are
Blesena ("Blesena," "we," "us," or "our") provides a technology platform that connects customers seeking automotive help with independent contractor mechanics.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Blesena.
3. Platform Role And Independent Mechanics
Blesena is a technology platform. Mechanics are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Blesena. Blesena facilitates matching and payments, but each mechanic is responsible for the quality, conduct, and performance of their services. Blesena is not responsible for misuse, negligence, or misconduct by its independent contractor mechanics. The service relationship is between the customer and the independent mechanic who accepts the request.
4. Services
- Roadside assistance: spare tire assistance, lockout, fuel delivery, and jump start.
- Pre-purchase vehicle inspections with a written report.
- Service coverage is focused on Connecticut and depends on mechanic availability.
5. Pricing
- Roadside assistance is a flat $99.
- Pre-purchase inspection is a flat $199.
- Prices shown in the app control at the time you submit a request.
Payments are for physical vehicle services and are processed by Stripe. Before dispatch, Blesena authorizes the displayed service amount as a temporary hold and collects payment after valid service completion. For future inspections, with your consent, Stripe saves the payment method and Blesena authorizes the amount within 24 hours of the confirmed appointment. Authorization expiry is controlled by Stripe and card networks; renewed authorization may be required before travel. Blesena does not store full card numbers. Mechanic earnings transfer after successful payment capture; failed payment or payout processing remains pending for recovery.
6. Cancellations And Refunds
Before roadside assignment, cancellation is free within five minutes of submission and costs 15% afterward. Assigned roadside cancellations require support review. If no mechanic accepts within ten minutes, Blesena releases the hold without a cancellation fee.
Inspection cancellation is free before appointment confirmation or more than 24 hours before the confirmed appointment. Later cancellations require support review. Blesena captures only an applicable approved cancellation fee and releases unused authorized funds. Your bank determines when released holds disappear. Refunds for already captured payments require separate processing and return to the original payment method.
7. Customer Service Agreement
Customers review the full Customer Service Agreement in the app and choose whether to sign electronically. Mechanic applicants separately review the full Independent Contractor Agreement. Signing requires affirmative acceptance and electronic-record consent; the app saves the agreement version, the typed legal name or drawn signature, the authenticated account, and the signing time. You can reopen your saved agreement from your account.
Read the originals: Customer Service Agreement (PDF) and Mechanic Independent Contractor Agreement (PDF).
8. Off-Platform Contact
You may not contact, hire, or transact with any mechanic you meet through Blesena outside the platform for any automotive service for 12 months after a platform-facilitated interaction. Violations may result in permanent account deactivation.
9. Mechanic Tiers And Job Visibility
Blesena may classify mechanics by tier based on completed services, account standing, reliability, cancellation history, and administrative review.
- Starter mechanics earn 35% of the service price.
- Preferred mechanics earn 50% of the service price.
- Eligible online mechanics receive private offers ranked by distance; Preferred status breaks distance ties. Each offer expires after 45 seconds. The search starts within 10 miles and expands to 25 miles after two minutes.
- Blesena may promote, demote, suspend, or remove mechanics based on platform rules, customer safety, account standing, or service quality.
10. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate location, vehicle, seller, and request information.
- Use Blesena safely and lawfully.
- Treat mechanics and support staff respectfully.
- Do not submit fraudulent requests or bypass payment, pricing, or security systems.
Do not post or send threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, unlawful content, scams, or other abusive material. Service messages and reports may be reviewed for safety and policy enforcement. Report concerns through in-app support or email developer@blesena.com. For immediate danger, call 911; Blesena is not an emergency service.
11. Location And Notifications
Mechanics share precise location while explicitly online and during active services, including in the background, to receive nearby offers and show service progress. Location freshness is displayed; arrival times are not guaranteed. Service progression requires server-verified proximity or a documented support exception. Inspection appointment changes require the other participant’s confirmation and expire if unanswered. Push notifications contain generic service alerts; the current in-app service record controls status.
Our Privacy Policy describes data collection, recipients, retention, and your choices. You can request account and associated-data deletion from your profile or follow the web deletion instructions. Deletion does not erase outstanding payment or dispute obligations.
Maps and address suggestions are provided by Google Maps. Your use of these features is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
12. Service Limits
Roadside assistance is performed using reasonable efforts on site. Spare tire assistance requires a usable spare tire and does not include a new replacement tire. Inspections are point-in-time assessments and are not warranties on the condition or reliability of a vehicle. Blesena makes no guarantee on the outcome of any roadside assistance service. Mechanics will make reasonable efforts to resolve the situation, but Blesena is not liable if a roadside issue cannot be fully resolved on site.
13. Dispute Resolution And Arbitration
You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of the Blesena platform, including any services received, shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not court litigation. Arbitration will be conducted by a mutually agreed arbitrator in the State of Connecticut in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association unless another process is mutually agreed. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Blesena. This clause does not prevent you from filing a complaint with a government regulatory agency.
14. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blesena is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Blesena's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date. Continued use of Blesena after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
